THE MARIAS’ “HUSH”
Another amazing group we wanted to feature for National Hispanic Heritage month is The Marías. The group named after Puerto Rican lead singer María Zardoya, is topping the charts! Their single “Hush,” hit No 1. on the Adult Alternative Airplay on Billboard Charts, making it their first charted song.
“The fact that this lil’ song we wrote and recorded in our apartment is now No. 1 on a Billboard chart is crazy to us,” stated the group to Billboard. Not only is it doing well on the charts but the video for the song has already gained over 1 million views on YouTube.
